  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

  • 1 1/2 cups water

  • 2 tbsp macadamia nut butter

  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, chopped

  • Optional add-ins: 1 scoop collagen powder, 1 scoop plant-based protein powder

Optional Toppings:

    • Peanut butter or any nut butter

    • Golden flaxseed oil

    • Maple syrup, coconut sugar, fresh medjool dates (chopped), or rice malt syrup

    • Fresh berries

    • Passion fruit

    • Bee pollen


Prepare the Porridge:

  • In a medium saucepan, combine the psyllium husk, ground flaxseed, ground sunflower seeds, almond meal, and tapioca starch.

  • Add the water and stir well to combine.

  • Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring continuously to prevent lumps.

Cook Until Thickened:

  • Continue to cook, stirring constantly, until the porridge thickens to your desired consistency, about 5-7 minutes.

  • Stir in the coconut oil, sea salt, and macadamia nut butter until well incorporated.

  • If using, add the collagen powder and plant-based protein powder, and stir until fully dissolved.

Add the Strawberries:

  • Fold in the chopped strawberries and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until they are warmed through.

Serve:

  • Divide the porridge between two bowls.

  • Top with your choice of optional toppings: a dollop of peanut butter or nut butter, a drizzle of golden flaxseed oil, a splash of maple syrup, fresh berries, passion fruit, and a sprinkle of bee pollen.
